About HomeSaunas.co
Independent research on home saunas, built on verified specs and what real owners report years after they buy.
HomeSaunas.co helps you choose a home sauna, whether that's an infrared cabin, a backyard barrel, a portable tent or a sauna blanket, without wading through spec sheets and sponsored hype.
What makes our reviews different
Most sauna reviews are written after a few weeks with a sample unit. What predicts whether you'll be happy in year five is what thousands of owners report over the years. So for every product we recommend, we:
- Verify specs at the source. Capacity, power requirements, temperatures and warranty terms come from the manufacturer or an authorized dealer.
- Read the owners. We analyze Reddit communities like r/Sauna and r/infraredsauna, Trustpilot and retailer reviews for patterns, both good and bad.
- Count the whole cost. Heaters, freight, electrical work and foundations often double what a sauna costs. We show you the real total.
- Tell you who shouldn't buy it. Every pick has a "Skip it if" line.
Who writes our reviews
Hybrid athlete, data nerd and home sauna connoisseur. John lifts, runs, sweats, and reads the spec sheets so you don't have to.
